Toxicology

Toxicology is the science of adverse effects of chemicals on living organisms.

The Toxicology section of the Forensic Science Center is currently in the planning stages, with expected completion in Spring 2009.

Services offered will include screening, confirmation, and quantitation of foreign chemicals in bodily fluids, as well as blood alcohol testing.

Dr. Peter Galvan and the Coroner's office are pleased to have the opportunity to expand their ability to serve the citizens of St. Tammany Parish.
