Death Investigations

The primary job of our pathologists and investigators is to make an unbiased determination as to cause and manner of death and ascertain if there is possible criminal involvement. This is accomplished through careful examination and gathering of evidence at a death scene. When needed, our office provides testimony in criminal matters for the District Attorney or Public Defender.

Our top priority is to honor the deceased while serving the living. We accomplish this by connecting with the family and friends of the deceased and assisting them in dealing with their loss. We understand that the loss of a loved one is a tremendous shock for family and friends, and we attempt to comfort those grieving by providing relevant and appropriate information on all procedures.
